Great race today at Allamuchy. Julian, Ekrem, Karem and I all raced sport. The mass start was exciting and Ekrem and I got out in front of the pack heading into the single track. The single track was super muddy and the first climb was tough. Going over the climb there was a nice downhill going into a stream crossing. I accidentally did a nose wheelie and almost landed in the freezing water, but I managed to get my foot onto a rock and stay out of the water. I landed in fifth place and Ekrem created a small gap while I got it back together.

Congratulations to 4 U19 Bulldogs - Austin, Jessi, Morgan and Peter - who upgraded for the 2012 season. Way to go guys, and now go get 'em!

This was my second year at Coyote Hill Mountain Bike Camp and I had agreat time again this year.  One of the things I loved about this camp wasbeing able to ride all day on my bike.  We rode once in the morning andthen once in the afternoon.  In the evening, we played games such asultimate frisbee, soccer, pingpong and foosball.  On the last night, webuilt a massive bonfire, roasted marshmallows and made smores.  This was myfavorite day because we had our epic ride that day which was the longestride of the week.

Everyone at the camp is very nice.  The counselors and other campers are very knowledgeable and willing to help you with any problem with your bike. I liked being able to work on my bike with all the tools and assistancefrom everyone.  I am looking forward to going back next summer.

This was my second year going to Coyote Hill Mountain Bike Camp in vermont, owned and run by Tom at his farmhouse, and it was a challenging and exciting summer experience.  At Coyote Hill you learn everything you need to know about bike care and maintenance, you meet some new great mountain bikers, eat well, and take on some of the toughest trails around!
